Patents
Quantum B’s technology development is supported by proprietary intellectual property in both post-quantum and quantum-cryptographic security. Our patent portfolio reflects two complementary directions: practical migration toward quantum-safe key distribution, and the use of quantum communication primitives in distributed systems. Together, they illustrate our focus on building security architectures designed for the next era of digital infrastructure.
pQKD patent
One of our patents, “Post-Quantum Encryption Key Distribution Method and a Device” (EP4418605), covers a method and device for post-quantum key distribution. In practical terms, this patent aligns with our work on deployable quantum-safe cryptographic infrastructure that can be integrated into real operational environments.
Quantum conference key agreement patent
Our second patent application, “Quantum Conference Key Agreement Protocol and Use Thereof in a Distributed System” (EP4462727), covers a quantum conference key agreement protocol and its application in distributed systems. This invention reflects our longer-term work at the intersection of quantum communication and distributed trust architectures.
Portfolio direction
Our patents represent the dual character of Quantum B: on the one hand, practical solutions for near-term quantum-safe deployment; on the other, original work on more advanced quantum information science models for future distributed systems.
