Blockchain Security

Quantum B secures blockchain infrastructure for the quantum era through QSB: a blockchain architecture that combines post-quantum cryptography, quantum-secure communication, and quantum randomness into one resilient trust platform.

Blockchains are built on cryptography, and their long-term security depends on whether that cryptography can withstand the quantum era. Quantum B addresses this challenge through QSB: Quantum Secured Blockchain, our proprietary blockchain architecture designed to resist threats from cryptographically relevant quantum computers by combining the three pillars of quantum-resistant security: QKD, PQC, and QRNG. The system is designed to protect blockchain network communication with QKD, provide entropy through QRNG, and secure signatures, keys, and addresses with post-quantum cryptography.

QSB is built on the Substrate (Polkadot) framework, enabling the development of tailored blockchain systems while integrating quantum-resistant components into a modern, scalable blockchain stack. QSB is a dual-layer architecture with a classical peer-to-peer plane and a quantum-protected plane, making it possible to combine present-day blockchain infrastructure with a practical migration path toward deeper quantum-security integration.

A key strength of QSB is that it is not only a research concept, but a technology platform supported by real implementation work, public technical materials, and live operational environments. We have published a dedicated QSB whitepaper and have also demonstrated production-style deployment of a QSB-based platform visible through public Polkadot telemetry, including a network launched between Poland, Europe and the United States.

We continue to maintain live test environments for QSB as part of our ongoing development and validation work. These networks support experimentation with quantum-resistant signatures, secure validator communication, entropy sources, and the broader integration of blockchain systems with quantum cryptography. They also provide a practical foundation for future applications of QSB in digital identity, trusted registries, and other high-assurance distributed systems.

QSB whitepaper

Our comprehensive whitepaper formally introduces the Quantum Secured Blockchain (QSB) software implementation—why blockchains must prepare for the quantum era, how QSB combines QKD, QRNG, and PQC, and where we are headed next.

What QSB Delivers

With QSB, Quantum B helps organizations explore and build blockchain systems that are:

  1. Resist future quantum attacks against signatures, key exchange, and blockchain trust anchors.

  2. Strengthen accounts and transactions with post-quantum cryptography designed for long-term security.

  3. Protect node-to-node communication with QKD-enhanced security for high-assurance blockchain networks.

  4. Use QRNG-backed randomness to improve the integrity of keys, protocols, and network operations.

  5. Build blockchain applications where trust, resilience, and long-term security are core requirements.
