Quantum Communication Link Established Between Quantum B in Łódź and Nomios in Warsaw

We are pleased to announce the successful deployment and demonstration of a secure, emulated Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) communication link between Łódź and Warsaw, utilizing Fortinet FortiGate FG-40F routers and our proprietary pQKD devices.

The animated visualization, driven by authentic, real-time data collected from FortiGate and pQKD devices installed in two geographically separated data centers, effectively illustrates the principles of QKD operating in conjunction with industrial-grade network encryptors.

The demonstration also features quantum entropy counters for both communicating endpoints, „Alice” and „Bob,” providing a valuable educational tool for understanding the mechanics of quantum cryptography in action.

This showcase highlights how pQKD devices can support integration and implementation projects by reducing costs and accelerating the adoption of quantum-safe technologies in existing infrastructure.
